Diaper Quest Release 6 Version 3.1
This version's banner image is from the new art for the matron's post-diaper-change breastfeeding scene, drawn by Wishberri.
But first - an appeal! Patreon just nuked the vast majority of accounts making diaper fetish content. I'm not privy to their decision-making but if I had to guess, they looked for any evidence of age regression kink (which is something I won't touch myself, which is probably why mine is still up), and then deleted those accounts.
EDIT: HAHAHA I guess I was wrong. Well, fuck me, I guess. Patreon are just banning anything to do with diapers.
Anyway, Wishberri, our resident chief artist, has had to start again from scratch. She's made a SubscribeStar account, and I would implore any of you who have ever considered subscribing to her content to please do so now - she needs the regular monthly income to, you know, live.
Countless other diaper creators are in a similar spot - including HofBondage who has made loads of art for the game. You can find his new SubscribeStar here, but it is still awaiting approval.
How to Download - Newbies on Windows
If you're brand new, and on Windows, download this zip file, which contains both the game file and the program needed to run it.
After you've extracted your zip file, all you need to do is open git.exe and then select the file starting with DiaperQuest to run the game.

How to Download - Everyone Else
Diaper Quest was created with Inform. To play a work like this one, you need to download two different things:
1) A glulxe interpreter program (you open this program and then select the game file): many are available, Windows Git is strongly recommended for any machine that can run it (if your overzealous antivirus has a problem with area57's improved speed version, there's an older official version here). Another interpreter called Gargoyle is available on multiple platforms but is more prone to crashes. If you're having trouble consult this page.
2) The game file. Download it from:
We used to have a Windows launcher but unfortunately it is not working properly at the moment, due to our Webmaster Area57 having gone AWOL. It will download the wrong version! Do not use it.
Known Issues
- I'm getting reports that sometimes when playing poker with the orc, the game softlocks afterwards and won't let you enter any more commands. If this happens to you, please let me know exactly what happened in the poker game. And more importantly save your game before playing the poker minigame!
- Updating to the latest version of the MacBook operating system no longer supports WINE. If this is the case for you, I'm afraid you'll need to run Windows in a Virtual Machine or otherwise fully emulate Windows to play Trap Quest on your computer using the recommended Windows Git. Your other option is to try Gargoyle (see here).
- In some interpreters, on some people's computers, undo is failing to work because the interpreter's undo buffer isn't large enough to handle the game.

CHANGES
- Some more attempts have been done to combat lag, specifically improving how quickly the game can check the rooms around you for monsters, in order to accurately update the map and room descriptions.
- Icarus joins the fray!
- We were quite short on normal(ish) human NPCs in the Woods region that could come and do some of the stuff you sometimes needed someone to do with you to complete quests. So, let's have an angel!
- As those of you who play Trap Quest may be well-aware, Icarus is an angel who is also the 'graphics director' of the game, creating the 3D graphics you know and love.
- When Icarus sees you, he'll usually ask permission to experiment some new graphics on you. This will usually summon a new item of (cursed) clothing on you, but can also do something to your body. Items of clothing he might give you include...
- Wristcuffs
- Chain collar
- Shibari rope bondage
- Exercise bra
- When aggressive, Icarus does not change diapers. He is focused on the sexual & degrading stuff, so he can masturbate you, and he can do the harder kink stuff like watersports and (bab testers only) ejaculate in your diaper. He can also force his transformations on you that he was asking so politely about earlier.
- You can now obtain a white candle from the Cave of Divination in the Woods. This gives you a much easier way to obtain a candle for the ritual in the Mansion.
- But... When you pick up the candle, two things happen. Firstly, it starts to rain for a while. Having wet clothes makes many NPCs think you look like a pathetic baby who can't be trusted to dress yourself.
- Secondly, Icarus will appear in the cave, if able. Even if not summoned into the game yet. So now you have an NPC wondering around bugging you to let him transform you. And getting annoyed whenever you say no.
- The mechanic's weakness. Dun dun dunnnn!
- We recently added the elevator to the security room in the Hotel. This allows you to go into the final rooms... But this only works if you can get some DNA from the mechanic, or his ID card. Getting his ID card is difficult, so there need to be other ways.
- Bab testers can enable fetishes that allow you to get his DNA by having him urinate or ejaculate in your diaper. But Free2Play users currently can't, so there's also another fun way.
- Encounter the mechanic in the laundry room (with the automated changing machine) and have the mechanic both interested in you and not hostile. The mechanic will start to perform some maintenance on the automated changing machine, have an unfortunate slip-up, and get given a diaper change.
- This due to some convenient plot device curse, causes the mechanic to become incontinent and transform into a woman.

- In her new female diapered form, the mechanic can no longer perform certain punishments, but CAN sit on your face.
- She can still get unsealed into (male) Xavier.
- Every once in a while, if you catch her at the right moment (a minute or so before she urinates in her diaper), you'll witness her leaving a soiled diaper in the room you're both in.
- Guess what - you take that, and you've got her DNA! Drop it in the chute in the security room, and boom you've unlocked the elevator.
- You can also (after transforming the mechanic) release all the used diapers collected in the storage tank. Some of these will be the mechanic's.
- This due to some convenient plot device curse, causes the mechanic to become incontinent and transform into a woman.
- When you demand an item from a defeated NPC in return for mercy, you can now choose the item.
- Some of the items were stuff you couldn't see them carrying - I'm still working on an elegant solution for this.

- Improved and expanded the 'diaper urinal' and 'diaper cumrag' interactions, where an NPC with a penis urinates / ejaculates in your diaper.
- Art by Wishberri, with 36 minor variations in facial expression, passive vs active, and so on.
- You now have several different choices in how actively you engage. You can be the one who pulls the waistband open, hold the penis or leave it alone, or neither or both.
- Holding the penis increases perversion (orgasm addiction).
- Pulling the waistband open increases grossness addiction and humiliates you if it's not pretty high already.
- Doing both increases both, and in particular increases perversion faster.
- Doing both guarantees you won't be further punished.
- Doing one means you'll be punished if you get unlucky (~25% chance)
- Doing neither means you'll be punished if you get don't get lucky (~75% chance)
- The most common punishment for lacklustre enthusiasm is glue being added to the inside of the diaper, leaving you stuck in it until enough time goes by or you take a tip in a body of water.
- [Game Hates You] Remember, for you, water doesn't melt the glue!
- The heist painting now won't let you enter if you're wearing clothing you can't easily remove. This is because it turns out that the heist is close to impossible in some of these situations.

- Fixed a typo where the "Can the player become a futanari?" option erroneously said "bab testers only for now" when you were a bab tester.
- Fixed a bug where the cat hood would spawn if you were a Bab Tester, but wearing the cat hood would only cause the heist painting to activate if you were an Alpha Bab. Whoops, sorry!
OTHER FIXES
- Fixed a bug where the game no longer told you what NPCs you could see in neighbouring rooms.
- Fixed a bug where the laundry robots were still doing stuff to you when you entered the hotel room with the automated changing station, despite them supposed to have been removed from the game.
- Fixed a bug with getting stuck in the hole in the wall in the hotel and making too much noise, where some TQ flavour and functionality was bleeding into the game.
